T.T. Tricolor Car Rental, born from the dream of a partner, in 1984, where he wanted to mix his passion for cars with the smile of the tourist. Years passed and the year 1989, began proceedings in the ICT, for the Tourism Declaration, then obtain the approval of Tourism Contract. .
T.T. Tricolor, began operations on September 24, 1991, with a fleet of just 20 units, founded by three family members, where their president was Don Alvaro Fonseca Zayas-Bazán, QDGG .... I was temporarily located in San José, Barrio California, between Central and Second Avenue on 21st Street, by January 1992 we moved into a building on 17th Street between 8th Avenue and 10, with sufficient space to accommodate the fleet of that time back and front, a small display units for the same year we specialize in 4x4 vehicles, understanding the need of tourists, in such case, to venture to learn more about our country.
For the year 1993 due to increased demand, increase the fleet of new vehicles, which made us look, how to get more direct tourists to give a more personalized service, for which we hired a local Paseo Colón. In 1994, seeing an increase in small hotels, called "Bed and Breakfast", we decided to seek another location for a branch more, putting in Barrio Amon, a place where the greatest concentration of such accommodations.
Due to the tourism boom, by 1995, the administrative and maintenance was installed in a campus of a partner, who was at the end of Paseo de los Estudiantes, with a capacity of parking for 150 cars. By October 1997, T.T. Tricolor, transfers its Central Management and Operations, at Juan Santamaria Airport area, looking for a more complete service to customers in the area and improve service to customers using the Airport as entry and departure.
In mid-1999, T.T. Tricolor, rented a space to install the branch of Guanacaste Liberia, thinking of the other major airport of entry and exit to the country, and to provide a service closer to customers visiting the area, in their different needs.
In the new millennium, T.T. Tricolor expands in Alajuela, acquiring an adjacent property, remodeling the administrative offices, and began construction of a building on two floors for parking up to 280 vehicles. By February 2002, T.T. Tricolor, acquires a property on Paseo Colón, where he began the construction of a building that would double the space for the customer's attention, for December 2003, the branch in San Jose, moved to new facilities, where within one and a half, due to the wide acceptance of our customers in the area, we felt the need to expand again, greatly increasing the exhibition areas, customer service and parking for our raw material.
Due to increased tourism in the area of Guanacaste, TT Tricolor Car Rental, is scheduled for late 2012, begin construction of modern offices in the field Q. Daniel Oduber Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste. Today TTTricolor Car Rental has a fleet of 310 vehicles in 6 different categories, from the economic compact car, going for a four wheel drive vehicles up to fifteen passengers minibus.
As the experience in tourism fairs, we have participated in national fairs, specifically EXPOTUR as well as in international exhibitions, marking the second time that we participate in the ITB Fair in Berlin, Fitur in Spain, Tourist Market in Los Angeles in the United States.
